About Kinvault
Keeping what matters — findable.
We are a small, careful team in Khon Kaen dedicated to helping families hold their important records in good order.

How Kinvault began
Kinvault grew out of a straightforward observation: when a family member passes away or becomes unwell, the people left to manage things often have no idea where to start looking. Bank accounts, property papers, insurance policies, contact details for solicitors — none of it in one place, none of it labelled clearly.
Malee Thongdee, who founded Kinvault in 2019, had lived through that situation twice in her own family before she decided to do something about it. Not on a large scale, not with a complicated solution — but in a calm, personal way that any family in Thailand could use.
The name Kinvault comes from the idea of keeping records safely, the way a vault keeps valuables, but for families — for your kin. The harbours and steady lines of the design reflect that same idea: a place of order and safe arrival, without drama.
Today the team is small by design. We believe that this kind of work is done better when there is a real relationship between us and the families we support. We are not a large firm. We are people who take care.
Our Mission
To make it straightforward for any family in Thailand to keep their important records in order, and to support the conversations that help those records stay current and understood.
What We Are Not
Kinvault is an administrative and educational service only. We do not offer legal advice, draft instruments, act as representatives, or make any promises about outcomes. We organise and facilitate — nothing more, nothing less.
Our Values
- Warmth before efficiency — people first, systems second
- Honesty about what we do and do not do
- Discretion with every piece of information shared
- Patience — this work cannot be rushed
The People
A small, dedicated team
Everyone at Kinvault works with the same approach: unhurried, careful, and genuinely interested in what each family needs.
Malee Thongdee
Founder & Lead Facilitator
Malee has spent over a decade helping Thai families with document organisation and family communication. She founded Kinvault after noticing how often good intentions were undone by a lack of clear records.
Somporn Prachak
Records Systems Specialist
Somporn designs and implements the structured folder systems and checklists that clients take home. He has a background in information management and a talent for making complexity feel simple.
Nida Wattana
Client Relations & Scheduling
Nida is usually the first voice you will hear at Kinvault. She handles all first enquiries, scheduling, and follow-up — and makes sure every client feels welcome before the first session even begins.
How We Work
Standards we hold ourselves to
PDPA Compliance
All client data is handled in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act. We collect only what is needed and keep nothing longer than necessary.
Strict Confidentiality
Information shared during sessions stays entirely within Kinvault. Our team members work under written confidentiality agreements as a matter of standard practice.
Documented Processes
Each service follows a written process that has been developed and refined over several years. Clients receive a summary of what was done and what remains, every time.
Non-Directive Facilitation
In family sessions, our role is to create a structure for conversation — not to steer decisions. We follow established facilitation principles and do not take sides.
Ongoing Development
The team participates in regular training on facilitation practice, Thai family law developments, and data privacy — to remain informed without crossing into advice-giving.
Client Feedback Loop
Every engagement ends with a structured review. What worked well, what felt unclear, what could be better — we use this to improve steadily, session by session.
Estate organisation and documentation support in Khon Kaen
Kinvault works with individuals and families across the Khon Kaen region — and by arrangement elsewhere in Thailand — to bring a sense of order to personal and household documentation. The work covers the gathering and labelling of key family records, the creation of structured filing systems in both physical and digital forms, and the facilitation of family discussions that help relatives share and understand important information.
None of what Kinvault does constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice. The service is purely administrative and educational in character. Clients retain full ownership of their documents and full control over every decision. Kinvault's role is to help create the conditions — the systems, the structures, the conversations — that make good decisions easier to reach.
Families who have worked with Kinvault frequently describe the same thing: a sense of relief that comes not from having solved every problem, but from knowing where things are. That is, at its core, what Kinvault is for.
